In this role, she facilitates office efficiencies and reception, serves as a community liaison, provides support to the President & CEO, and manages the use of RCF's Community Board Room. Prior to this job, Ms. Boyd was a member of the community engagement and program teams at RCF, where she coordinated the Building Blocks for Kids Emerging Technology Plan for Family Inclusion for the NURVE area, and organized parents at Nystrom Elementary.

Inspired by her mother's commitment to service, Monica Boyd began her community work with the Feeding Ministry at her church, cooking free meals for families in Sobrante Park, Oakland, California. Ms. Boyd first came to RCF as a member of Americorps, in partnership with Bay Area LISC. She has additional work experience in the corporate field, including office administration and housing/property management. Ms. Boyd holds a Certificate of Completion from the Property Management Training Institute, and has completed work toward her AA degree at Contra Costa College.

Ms. Boyd has lived and worked in our community for over nine years. She is a single mother of three wonderful children. When she is not working, Ms. Boyd enjoys singing and volunteering in the service of children and families.
