Community Board Room

Richmond Community Foundation's (RCF) convenient Community Board Room is the ideal space for your next seminar, training or meeting. The Community Board Room features state-of-the-art audio, video, and wireless internet access, with flexibility to fit groups up to sixty.  Download Photo Portfolio below to view sample room configurations.

Community Board Room Use
The space is available for use by nonprofit organizations, public organizations and private businesses and is designed to support meetings, seminars and trainings. Use of the space must be purposeful and aligned with the mission of the Richmond Community Foundation and can not be used for organized political or religious activities, or any activity that may directly or indirectly injure or damage any individual or property.

Reservation Requirements
A reservation request for use of the Community Board Room must be submitted a minimum of one week, but no more than 6 months, prior to the date of use. Reservations are handled on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are interested in establishing a recurring meeting in the Community Board Room, please contact us at (510) 234-1200.

Prior to reserving a meeting room, nonprofit organizations must furnish a copy of their IRS 501(c)(3) letter and all other entities must submit a certificate of insurance that demonstrates a minimum of $1,000,000 in General Liability coverage and that names Richmond Community Foundation as additionally insured.

Reservation Fees
For Profit Organizations: $150.00/hour (minimum of 2 hours) or $650/day flat fee.

Nonprofit Organizations/Public Entities: There is no charge for nonprofits and public entities to use the Community Board Room from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Nonprofit/Public Entities After Hours Fees: A Fee of $50.00/hour (minimum of 2 hours) will be assessed for use of the Community Board Room before 9:30AM or after 5:00PM.

Nonprofits/Public Entities charging fees for the event: A fee of $50.00/hour (minimum of 2 hours) will be assessed if the entities use includes charging a fee to attendees.

On the day of your rental, foundation staff will be available to assist you with any questions regarding use of equipment or arrangement of room.

Catering is permitted, but is the responsibility of the user. The user is responsible for clean up at the end of the meeting and failure to do so will result in a fee. Garbage receptacles are provided.
